UF CTSI Precision Health Initiative Pilot Funding

In a continued effort to support university faculty and encourage ground-breaking clinical and translational research, the University of Florida (UF) Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) has partnered with the UF College of Pharmacy to create a new annual Precision Health Initiative Pilot Grant opportunity.

This opportunity aims to catalyze collaborative scientific projects that are innovative, inter-institutional, and multidisciplinary. Precision Health Pilot Projects promote research for the development of methods, interventions, or integrative models with the potential to advance precision medicine and precision public health.

These competitive awards provide one-year of support for researchers at UF and Florida State University, with the goal that such funding is used to obtain preliminary data needed to apply for major research support in precision health (i.e., interdisciplinary R01 projects).
